I love it when folks describe my style of photography as laid-back, candid and relaxed, because that is not only how I want my photos to feel, that is exactly how I want the actual experience of my photo sessions to feel as well.
This backyard family session highlights those qualities so perfectly. Yes, it does help that I have photographed this family a few times but the true key ingredient that made this shoot so successful was that we did these photos at home. Photos taken in the comfort of your own surroundings immediately make everyone feel at ease–10 out of 10.
