Hey there! My name is Jenna Elliott and I’m the photographer behind One Eleven Photography. I specialize in creative, candid, natural-light family and lifestyle photography.

The first thing you should know about me is there has never been anything that I have ever wanted to do more than be a photographer. I love my job. I love that, since the first day I picked up my first camera at age 13, it has allowed me to meet so many amazing and different people. I love that every photo shoot holds something unexpected and unique. I love that every day is different. I love finding moments of joy and holding them still.

On the subject of what I love, besides taking photos, I am happiest when I’m spending time with my husband, our son, James, and our sweet pup, Stella, sharing a home-cooked meal (and some nice wine!) with family and friends or going on a spontaneous adventure with my crew. When I was a little girl, I dreamt of traveling the world as a National Geographic photographer. (I’m pretty sure I wasn’t alone with that dream.) While I continue to have a constant urge to travel and explore, these days there is nowhere else I’d rather be than at home.

After earning a degree in photojournalism from San Francisco State University and starting my career working for newspapers and producing documentary films, I started One Eleven Photography in 2009--nearly 15 years ago! Since those early days, I have continued to keep my photos as candid as possible and keep posing to a minimum. The relaxed, laid-back nature of my photo sessions very much reflects my own personality. Mix all that together and the result is clients who feel free to be themselves and photographs that capture their precious, fleeting moments in fun and creative way.
