My photo session with the Johnson family a few weeks ago was an extra special one for me and maybe it shows in these images. Matt and Hilary’s wedding was one of the first weddings I photographed back in 2010. Getting to photograph them 6 years later in their home with their two beautiful boys was such a treat. Possibly because they knew how I worked but also possibly because they are just easy-going, like-minded, awesome people, I think we were all able to relax in to the shoot and have a lot of fun and, in turn, create these lovely, candid photos that, I think, tell the story of who they are as a family now. For me, that is the ultimate reward of a family photographer.
